keeping our certification customers apprised of changes that may affect them.
UL is pleased to announce that all UL certification customers have free access
to UL Standards, not including UL IEC Based Standards, as of
January 2007. The Standards will be available in electronic format via an
online repository and serve as a critical reference tool during your product
development process. We hope you are able to take full advantage of this added
benefit that no other global certifier provides.

| I have a subscription to standards. What will happen to my current subscription? |
| Your current subscription to UL Standards will continue through its expiration. |

| Do I receive a credit for my subscription that I purchased
earlier this year? |
| No. With the new pricing program, effective January 1, 2007, you
will receive access to any UL Standard, not including UL IEC Based Standards,
in addition to the Standard(s) covered under your current subscription. |

| Can I forward UL Standards to "my" customers? |
| UL
Standards not including UL IEC Based Standards,
are available at no additional expense beginning January
1, 2007 to UL certification customers only. UL Standards materials are copyrighted and use
of these materials is not transferable to other
entities.

| Can I order a paper copy of the Standard? |
| Yes, but paper copies of Standards will still carry a fee. UL will be providing
Standards to UL customers at no additional expense in electronic format only.
You may print a copy once you receive the electronic file or purchase a paper
copy via UL’s Comm2000 web site at
www.comm-2000.com. |

| When I get my Free Standards do I get access to UL’s CSDS System? |
| No. Although you may choose to receive specific Standards, you will not
automatically obtain access to UL's Collaborative Standards Development System
(CSDS). You will need to make a separate request to access a CSDS Work Area.
